We stopped for lunch on 8/12/24. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich with potatoe salad. The pulled pork was tender, smokey, well seasoned, delicious. She did use some of house BBQ sauce, which is fantastic. The potato salad was creamy, delicious. The celery was fresh. I had brisket burnt ends. They were absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Nice and juicy. The Mac and Cheese was creamy delicious, slightly salty but nonetheless delicious. The fried potatoes are wonderful. They are well seasoned, with chunks of sausage mixed in. Love them! Our server was great. I really wanted a piece of that gooey cake, but didn't have room for it today. That gooey cake is to due for! I was saddened to learn it's for sale. I love this place. Hopefully the next owner will carry on the tradition of great BBQ and great food.

I'd give this place 100 stars if I could. Brisket was tender and juicy! Sweet tea was as southern as it gets. Worth the drive!

Awesome BarBQue. Went first time yesterday my cousin had burnt ends I had ribs. I had vanilla butter cake for dessert. My ribs were awesome cousin said Burt ends were great too. I'd go back again just for the vanilla butter cake. Ribs were the best I've had in a long while

So my wife and I have been passing by Chubbys for 5 or 6 years and never stopped, well we finally did tonight and were sorry for stopping in so close to closing time guys. I usually do my reviews with a pro and con but honestly, I have no cons. In the door you'll see it's no frills and no muss no fuss which is perfectly great with me as that's what I expect when going for BBQ. The menu has all your favorites including burnt ends. We both ordered the pulled pork sandwich, my wife got cole slaw on her sandwich and a side of mac n cheese and I got the baked beans. The pulled pork on the sandwich was a perfect serving size, it was very tender, moist and full of flavor. They have many options for sauce right on the table and I went with the the "cold remedy" sauce which had a great horseradish kick and my wife went with the "private reserve" which was equally good with almost a classic BBQ flavor and we did taste them all and were all great. The cole slaw is some of the best I have ever had honest! Was very creamy and sweet just how I like it. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy and good, I wish I knew what cheeses are in it as it's awesome. Now on to the only item I really didn't care for and its a matter of personal preference, not chubbys Quality. The baked beans had great flavor but waaaay too much meat in it for me. There was actually more meat than beans, I like beans when ordering baked beans but again, just my preference. So bottom line, this is a little roadside gem that is a must stop.

Whenever I land in Maryland my first stop is to see my Bestfriend and eat. Per our usual, I search Yelp for what we're in the mood for and go from there. This time I was in the mood for Barbeque and we ended up at Chubby's! Chubby's was super easy to find as it's right off the main road. There is ample parking in their private lot which was awesome as I was ready to eat. LoL! Upon walking in I was greeted by Michelle who also ended up being my waitress. Michelle was very pleasant and very engaging. Upon being seated, Michelle went over the menu with my table, answered my this vs. that questions, took our drink orders and allowed us some time to figure out what we wanted. When Michelle arrived back with my Sweet Tea (which was absolutely awesome) she took our orders and told me to make sure I saved space for dessert. As we couldn't decide on what to choose we ended up with a table of options. Based on what I was able to taste from everyone's plates, here's an overview: Bestie: Pork Belly - Perfectly done and super flavorful. Besties Wife: Chubby Burger - Uniquely crafted burger that is Super Filling and pairs well with the "Any Last Words" sauce. Coleslaw - Ahhhhhhhhmaaaaazingggggg Kiddies: Onion Rings - Great flavor profile in the batter. Nice sized onion. Served fresh and perfectly golden. Mozzarella Sticks - Suler cheesy and good. As far as my meal... The first word that comes to mind for me is WOW!!!! Along with good service Chubby's has good food. My Burnt Ends were meaty, flavorful, perfectly done, and had the authentic smoked barbeque flavor that I was seeking. The fries were hand cut and gooooooood. Crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. Perfectly salted and a perfect pairing to my Burnt Ends... With having the Burnt Ends as my main course I was able to test out the sauces. OmMyGosh! I never knew how much I loved an assortment of barbeque sauces until today. However, though each sauce held its own and I appreciate the variation; I fell in LOVE with the "Private Reserve!" The Private Reserve sauce is a crafted blend that gives you a little bit of each flavor desire. There's a hint of spice, a dash of sweet, and a smooth undertone of smokiness. Now, if you're a lover of experimenting like me, make sure to blend the Private Reserve with the Hot... Out. Of. This. Worlddddddddddd good. I had the Gooey Vanilla Cake for dessert. It was super moist, flavorful, and the Caramel drizzle really sets it off. It puts you in the mindset of cheesecake meets cake with a flaky texture. Chubby's was an awesome find and I would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for some good barbeque.
